Muscat: ONIC Holding is investing in Takaful Oman (under formation), as one of the founding shareholders. Takaful Oman SAOG will be the first takaful insurance company in Oman.
The initial capital of the new company is OMR10 million and ONICH will hold a 7.5 per cent shareholding. The investment is in line with ONICH's strategy. As per Capital Market Authority regulations, Takaful Oman will be listed on MSM through an IPO.
