Nasair, Saudi Arabia's national carrier, signed a franchise agreement at the Arabian Travel Market 2012 in Dubai on Monday.
Nasair Chief Executive Officer François Bouteiller, said: "We are extremely excited about signing this key agreement as it reflects our commitment to 'Social Welfare' and Saudiazation. Nasair aims, through the franchisee programmr, to not only create convenient locations for its esteemed passengers to purchase nasair tickets, but also serve to boost the local entrepreneurship culture, creating job opportunities for the local community."
Three of the top players in the Saudi Arabian market have already secured nasair franchisee in select zones in Saudi Arabia; a new agreement with Fyfa Travel who have secured the franchisee of Sabbiah in Gizan, Khonaini Travel who have secured the franchisee of Jubail and Portfolio who have secured the location of Taif.
As part of the franchise, nasair will offer a progressive incentive scheme to provide the opportunity to make significant annual profits. Other benefits include direct referral to the franchises, call centre support and consolidation within approved zones.
Nasair is Saudi Arabia's first low cost airline and only remaining private carrier.
