AMMAN -- The Lower House on Sunday continued deliberations over the draft 2013 state budget law, with more deputies announcing they would not vote for endorsing the bill.
The MPs started their debate over the draft law last week, with around 50 deputies out of the 150 members taking the podium during the past three sessions.
Also on Sunday, the House's Energy and Mineral Resources Committee examined mechanisms to exploit alternative energy resources, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During a meeting that hosted Ibrahim Hajjaj, an energy expert, committee members were briefed on several sources of alternative energy that can alleviate the energy crisis in the Kingdom.
During the next few days, the committee will meet with other energy specialists to examine ways to provide an appropriate infrastructure that can qualify the Kingdom to benefit more efficiently from alternative sources of energy.
