LONDON (Dow Jones)--Lebanon's state grains purchasing agency has issued a tender to buy 50,000 metric tons of milling wheat, a European trader told Dow Jones Newswires Wednesday.
The bidding deadline for the tender is May 8. The first half of the wheat sought under the tender is requested to arrive June 15 while the other half is requested to be shipped between the June 1 and 15.
"We're undecided if we will participate yet in this tender but I do believe the Black Sea origins are likely to secure this tender," said the European trader.
