BEIRUT (Zawya Dow Jones)--Kuwait Projects Co. (Holding), or Kipco, plans to implement large-scale projects in Algeria in the coming months, state-run Kuwait News Agency, or Kuna, reports Thursday, citing an executive.
A Kipco delegation visiting the North African country has expressed interest in the local property and life insurance sectors, Faisal Al Ayyar, Kipco's vice chairman, told Kuna.
The company has submitted, and will submit more, requests to the Algerian government for proposed projects in the food and pharmaceutical industries as well as other sectors, Ayyar said, according to the news agency.
