Kuwait, June 17th, 2013 (WAM) -- The Kuwaiti Cabinet has held an extraordinary meeting presided over by Premier Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
"The cabinet stresses full respect to rulings of our fair judiciary and our serious commitment toward enforcing it in line with the constitution and laws," Kuwaiti Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah said in a statement. He added that the meeting comes after court verdict on electoral appeals made by some citizens. The Kuwait New Agency (KUNA) reported that the cabinet, has issued instructions to relevant state bodies to study the supreme court ruling and take the necessary measures to implement it.Copyright Emirates News Agency (WAM) 2013.
