Mashad, June 28, IRNA - Governor of Khorassan-e Razavi said on Sunday that foreign investments in this province during past Iranian year (ended on March 20, 2015) amounted to $620 million.
'Keeping in mind the various and diverse capacities of the provincial capital city, Mashad, and the other major provincial cities for absorbing Iranian and foreign capitals proper planning is made, including last month's conference aimed at absorbing such capitals,' said Ali-Reza Rashidian in a press conference.
He said that more specialized and more subject-oriented conferences in this field are being scheduled.
Khorassan-e Razavi governor emphasized that all sound and legal investments will be fully supported and guaranteed by the government, whether they are national or international investments.
He, meanwhile, expressed hope that the $620 million dollar investments which is very small in comparison with Khorassan-e Razavi's great potentials in industrial, mining, agricultural, and tourism potentials will soon be multiplied relying on proper planning.
Rashidian also referred to Khorassan-e Razavi's 1.8 million dollar exports last year, which shows an 8% increase compared to the year before last.
