Jarir Bookstore announces on the last Thursday the August 18, 2011 the opening of their new showroom in Mecca (King Faisal Road) in Al Refaai group center, bringing the total number of Jarir showrooms to 30 in Saudi and GCC countries.
CEO of Jarir Marketing Company, Mr. Abdulkareem Al Agil, stated that The new showroom consists of two floors with total area of 3,700 Sq meters to accommodate the complete range of products aiming to provide great experience to the customers.
Al Agil stated that the new showroom is at a good location ( King Faisal Road ) adding a very different shopping experience to Jarir valued customers in Al Azizia , Al Awali , Al Rawda , Al Sharaie and to the visitors of the Holy Mosque from all over the world.
He further added that This showroom is expected to contribute to the turnover and profits of the company.
Jarir bookstore invested more than SR 15 million in this new showroom which includes more than 70,000 different items of office and school supplies and more than 30,000 titles of Arabic and English books, in addition to a vast number of arts and engineering materials.
While establishing this new showroom, Jarir gave special attention to the sections of Personal Computers, Laptops, Tablet PCs, Computer Programs and accessories by representing some of the best international brands with latest technology and at competitive prices.
Its noteworthy that the new showroom ( Mecca 2 ), is the 30th of Jarir showrooms in GCC countries and 26th in Saudi Arabia.

During 2011, Jarir bookstore has opened two new showrooms located in Al Haffof and Mecca and planning to open an additional showroom in Yanbu bringing the total number of Jarir showrooms in GCC Countries to 31 showrooms by the end of year 2011.
