Elie Aoun assigned as Ipsos Connect CEO for Middle East, Africa and Pakistan

Brand, advertising and media research combined

Ipsos MediaCT and Ipsos ASI, the two specialized Worldwide Business Lines, merge to form Ipsos Connect, which aims to be the preferred partner for companies to measure and amplify how media, brands and consumers connect through compelling content and great communications.

As the worlds of brand communications, advertising and media become increasingly complex, fragmented and digitalized, Ipsos has made the decision to help its clients better embrace this modern complexity. Ipsos will be connecting the world-class knowledge of both Ipsos ASI and Ipsos MediaCT in brand, advertising and media research, with investment in new approaches and products that will be a better fit to the digital age.

As of January 2016, The Ipsos Connect MENA Cluster, which will group the MediaCT and the ASI business, will be led by Elie Aoun, who will be promoted to CEO Ipsos Connect. Elie will directly report to Yannick Carriou, Ipsos Connect Global CEO and to Edouard Monin, CEO of Ipsos MENA.

Aoun, born in Lebanon, joined Ipsos in 1992 where he commenced his career in Beirut, Lebanon, thriving in the world of PR and Advertising and generating much success for the Ipsos group. One of his many achievements has been his contribution to the expansion of Ipsos into the Middle East and Africa region.

Through the expansion of services in this region, currently more than 900 dynamic full time researchers and specialized research analysts provide Ipsos clients with high value-added analytical and market insight, as well as innovative business related solutions for their markets.
