HRH the Premier was welcomed and greeted by Alba's Chairman of Board of Directors, Shaikh Daij bin Salman bin Daij Al Khalifa and the executive management.

Shaikh Daij presented HRH the Premier with a unique, hard embossed aluminium portrait of HRH, made from Alba's aluminium and by its workers.

His Royal Highness the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa honoured Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba) by visiting the Company's exhibition stand today, February 03, 2015 at the Gulf Industry Fair (GIF) 2015.

GIF 2015, which is being held under the patronage of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa from February 03 to 05, 2015 at Bahrain International Exhibition Centre, Kingdom of Bahrain, was inaugurated by HRH this morning.

HRH the Premier, accompanied by VIP guests and dignitaries, was welcomed and greeted by Alba's Chairman of Board of Directors, Shaikh Daij bin Salman bin Daij Al Khalifa and the executive management at the Alba stand.

Shaikh Daij presented HRH the Premier with a unique, hard embossed aluminium portrait of HRH, made from Alba's aluminium and by its workers. This customised portrait was a token of appreciation for HRH's role in establishing Alba in 1971 as the first aluminium smelter in the Middle East, and for HRH's continuous support to the expansion of the Company, which today produces more than 931,000 mtpa high-grade aluminium.

Expressing his deepest thanks to HRH the Premier, Alba's Chairman of Board of Directors, Shaikh Daij said:

"I would like to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to HRH the Premier for his unrelenting and continuous support towards the economic growth of Bahrain, which in turn has made the Kingdom one of the leading economic destinations in the Middle East. Alba, a major supporter of initiatives that highlight the Kingdom of Bahrain as an investor-friendly destination, has been a key supporter of the GIF. This year, Alba once again renewed its strategic support to GIF 2015, thus underlining the Company's commitment to support initiatives that showcase Bahrain's aluminium sector.

Alba has a prominent presence at the GIF 2015 through its exhibition stand where visitors can meet with the Company's officials and know more about its economic, social and development al initiatives.
