Car rental firm voted by peers and business leaders as one of UAE's most honest, trustworthy brands

Dubai, 21 November 2011: For the third consecutive year Hertz UAE has been recognised as 'Superbrand' by a panel of top UAE business leaders and more than 2,500 marketing professionals following a rigorous selection process

The Superbrands organisation, founded in 1994, is a worldwide independent branding arbiter which analyses the history and strength of different brands in more than 86 countries.  Each year, Superbrands UAE recognises leading brands in the region and awards them for creating an outstanding brand.

The business leader panel, which included Her Excellency Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, Minister of Foreign Trade and Colm McLoughlin, Managing Director, Dubai Duty Free, selected a shortlist of 1,281 brands from thousands across the UAE based on emotion-led criteria such as comfort level, trustworthiness, quality and delivery, giving each a score out of 100.  The shortlisted brands were those which scored 80 per cent or higher.

The process was repeated with the shortlisted organisations and voted online by 2,500 regional marketing managers and company directors to comprise an overall list of 55 brands awarded the coveted title for the 2012 year.

All Hertz cars are fully insured and undergo a 40-point quality check-up prior to rentals.  Customers can rely on a 24-hour back up service breakdown cover which includes replacement vehicles, full maintenance and repairs, and round-the-clock roadside assistance.
