Abu Dhabi — Emirates Airlines announced it has launched new transfer shuttles designed in the Emirates A380 livery. The complimentary bus service for Economy Class customers that operates between Dubai International Airport to and from Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, will now be on the new buses.
In addition to providing more comfort, the buses are more environmentally friendly.
Recipients of the Coach of the Year award, the buses from VDL Bus & Coach are more light weight, fuel efficient, and give off the lowest carbon dioxide emissions.
The buses also provide newly-designed seats, wider entrance and exit, additional storage in the overhead lockers and under deck, and personal lighting and climate control in each seat.
The upgraded buses are currently in operation, and the service is offered around the clock. Customers can book online as part of their flight booking.
Customers travelling in First Class and Business Class can avail of Emirates’ complimentary Chauffeur Drive service within the UAE.
