PARIS (Dow Jones)--France Telecom SA (FTE.FR) Monday said the Egyptian regulator has authorized its offer for a stake in the Mobinil mobile network operated by Egyptian Company for Mobile Services (EMOB.CI), or ECMS.
The tender offer is part of a France Telecom effort to take control of ECMS in a deal worth about EUR1.5 billion.
