DUBAI (Zawya Dow Jones)--Dubai's Drake & Scull International (DSI.DFM) on Monday said it has been awarded two contracts totaling 385 million dirhams ($104.9 million) for infrastructure work at projects in Saudi Arabia and India.
"We are continuing to move forward with our expansion drive across the region and India," Khaldoun Tabari, DSI's chief executive, said in a statement posted on the Dubai bourse website.
Its Indian subsidiary has signed a AED205 million contract with a private energy company in that country for the design, engineering, inspection, and delivery of a coal conveyor system from a mine head to a thermal power station in the state of Odisha, DSI said.
The Saudi contract worth AED180 million includes complete engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning for the Information Technology and Communication Complex Auxiliary works.
DSI shares closed 2.2% higher at AED0.964 Sunday.
