Dubai, United Arab Emirates - The Dubai Real Estate Institute (DREI), the training arm of the Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA) and the Dubai Land Department (DLD), has signed a flagship agreement of cooperation with the National Association of Realtors (NAR)and agreed to bring the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) Institute to the GCC region for the first time ever.

The agreement goes in line with the Dubai Land Department's efforts to regulate the Dubai real estate market, develop professionalism and best practices among the city's real estate practitioners and ensure the best services for investors in Dubai.

Marwan Bin Ghalita, CEO of RERA said: "The agreement comes as a result of the efforts of the Dubai Land Department to develop a real estate environment that puts Dubai on the world map and makes it the ideal destination for international real estate brokers who would like to work in the region and would like to learn more about the laws and regulations governing real estate in this part of the world, all of which will help provide for a better service to the growing number of investors in Dubai's real estate market".
