Aurobindo Pharma enters GCC, inks pact with Khimji Ramdas

MUSCAT -- Khimji Pharmacy LLC, one of the fastest growing business divisions of the Khimji Ramdas Group, yesterday announced its partnership with internationally renowned pharmaceutical company Aurobindo Pharma Ltd, a billion dollar pharma major with strong presence in the US and Europe.
This tie up will bring Aurobindo Pharma medicines (anti hypertensive medicines) and many such therapies at an affordable price point, especially for chronic therapies to the people of Oman. The event held in Crowne Plaza Muscat was inaugurated by the J S Mukul, Indian Ambassador to Sultanate, and was attended by the medical fraternity of Oman.
Madan Mohan Reddy, Director of Aurobindo Pharma Limited, along with senior management officials of Aurobindo and local partners Khimji Pharmacy were present on the occasion. The launch was followed by a CME (Continuing Medical Education) chaired by Dr K P Raman, where Dr Rajeev Lochan, world renowned Interventional Cardiologist based in Dubai, gave an informative talk on Hypertension Management.
