SINGAPORE, May 23 (Reuters) - Kuwait Petroleum Corp (KPC) and South Korea's S-Oil Corp have sold a total of 57,000 tonnes of naphtha at sharply lower prices as supplies are comparatively higher, traders said on Friday.
KPC sold 24,000 tonnes of light naphtha for June 29-30 loading to an unidentified North Asian trader at a premium heard below $35 a tonne to Middle East quotes on a free-on-board (FOB) basis.
This was down by at least 20 percent when compared to a cargo KPC had sold to Glencore for end May loading.
S-Oil on the other hand sold 33,000 tonnes of naphtha to Itochu for June 23-27 loading from Onsan. Traders estimated the premium to be around $10.50 a tonne to Japan quotes on a free-on-board (FOB) basis.
S-Oil had around March 12 sold an April cargo, also to Itochu, at about $50 a tonne premium.
