Dubai A two-day fundraising telethon will be held for the relief of Somalia and Horn of Africa, in accordance with the instructions of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice- President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The telethon will start tomorrow at 5pm and end at 1am on Wednesday. It will be held on Noor Dubai TV, Noor Dubai radio and in the Arabic newspaper Al Bayan.
The campaign, A’enohom (‘help them’ in Arabic), is organised by Dubai Media Corporation and the Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment.
Abdullah Al Serkal, programme director of Sama Dubai, said Sama Dubai will join in on Noor Dubai from 11 to 11.30pm each day.
