BAGHDAD, Dec 11, 2009 (AFP) - No companies submitted bids to work on the Baghdad East oil field or the cluster of fields known as Eastern Fields as part of an Iraqi auction of its energy resources on Friday, Oil Minister Hussein al-Shahristani said.
"We didn't receive any offers from any companies to improve Baghdad East or Eastern Fields, so the ministry of oil will develop these field as we have done before," he said.
