Abu Dhabi-UAE - ADNOC Distribution hosted a special ceremony to honour its strategic government and semi-government partners in the Northern Emirates for their valuable contributions to the company's projects and initiatives.

Held in the emirate of Ajman in the presence of Eng. Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman, Department of Civil Aviation (DCA), Ras Al Khaimah and Brigadier General Sheikh Rashid bin Ahmad Al Mualla, Director General of Umm Al Quwain Police, the ceremony  was officiated by Abdulla Salem Al Dhaheri, Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC Distribution and witnessed the participation of high-profile guests and senior representatives from local government and semi government departments and divisions in the UAE.

Speaking on the occasion, Abdulla Salem Al Dhaheri said: "At ADNOC Distribution we work to continually step-up the quality and value of products and services extended to our loyal customers, in line with the directives of our visionary leadership to enhance the overall competitiveness of the business sector in the UAE.

"As part of this core mandate, we aim to build mutually beneficial partnerships with the government and semi-government organisations in the country that will help us accomplish our strategic business plans and translate a long-term, sustainable impact."

He added: "Our ceremony this morning is our way of thanking our partners and stakeholders for their immense support and cooperation in helping us achieve our goals. We are keen to strengthen this cooperation across all economic and social levels to further enhance our contribution to the UAE national agenda."

One of the strategic plans implemented by ADNOC Distribution in the Northern Emirates was the re-opening and operation of service stations, as per the acquisition and asset transfer agreements signed with both Emarat and ENOC towards providing added convenience to customers across the UAE.

In line with its strategic expansion plans, ADNOC Distribution also reopened Al Dar Service station in June 2015. The refurbished facility was the first to become operational in the emirate of Sharjah under the transfer of assets agreement signed with ENOC, which mandated the migration of all 25 non-operational service station facilities in Sharjah to the ADNOC Distribution network.
