Zain Saudi Arabia has expanded its LTE roaming coverage by partnering with more than 120 global operators in order to deliver the best customer experience for the Eid and summer holidays.
Sultan Al-Deghaither, chief technology officer at Zain Saudi Arabia, said: “Striving to boost our position as a leading data service provider in the Saudi market, we have worked with operators from around the world to provide a consistent 4G experience to our customers while roaming.”
He added: “This comes in addition to the Wi-Fi Calling service, which allows customers roaming anywhere in the world to make calls and send SMS in local rates. Zain is the first operator in the Middle East and Africa to launch this unprecedented initiative.”
Zain is also offering innovative roaming bundles, such as its Pay As You Go service, which covers all destinations, starting from SR1 ($0.27) for a minute, MB or SMS. The company provides various data roaming options, such as the 2 GB package for SR99, 4 GB for SR199, and 10 GB for SR299. Customers visiting the UAE can enjoy unlimited calls, data, and SMS at competitive rates, starting from SR99.
For a list of all included countries, customers can send an SMS with the word “roaming” to 959. More information on service providers and subscription codes is available on the company’s website www.sa.zain.com
