SHARJAH, 22nd March, 2017 (WAM) -- H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on Wednesday morning opened the sixth edition of the International Government Communication Forum, IGCF 2017, at Sharjah Expo Centre under this year's theme, "Societal Participation ...Comprehensive Development".
The two-day event will see the delivery of six keynote speeches, and the holding of six sessions, five workshops and three discussion panels. The sixth edition of IGCF 2017 focusses on the role of government communication in achieving the sustainable development. The event is attended by over 2,500 officials, including head of governments, thought leaders, representatives of regional and international organisations, as well as civil society organisation representatives.
