Abu Dhabi – The Ministry of State for Federal National Council (FNC) Affairs organised a workshop for its employees to discuss Federal Law No. 7 of 1999 for Pension and Social Security, and the privileges and incentives it guarantees.

Organised in collaboration with the General Pension and Social Security Authority in Abu Dhabi, the workshop was conducted by a group of experts and specialists from the sector. It supports the Ministry’s efforts to raise awareness about the benefits of social security, and to provide sufficient information and accurate responses to the public’s enquiries regarding this law.

His Excellency Tariq Hilal Lootah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of State for FNC Affairs, said: “The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs is committed to offering its employees all the information they need regarding federal laws that affect their lives and their work. This workshop resonates with our vision to offer top-of-the-line administrative services that adhere to the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and transparency. The session introduces the latest developments affecting the federal law regulating pensions and social security, including amendments that allow the legislation to adhere to the general direction adopted by the Government of the UAE.”

During the workshop, attendees were given the opportunity to ask questions regarding the law and its implementation, as well as regarding their own rights and the procedures to follow upon retirement.
