Dubai, UAE – 30 September 2016

At this year’s prestigious World Travel Awards Middle East gala ceremony, JW Marriott Marquis Dubai was recognised for its commitment to excellence once again. They were voted Middle East’s Leading Conference Hotel 2016 and Dubai’s Leading Conference Hotel 2016 by travel tourism professionals worldwide. This adds to an impressive portfolio of international and local awards won by the hotel since its opening in 2012.  At last year’s Word Travel Awards JW Marriott Marquis Dubai was named Best Business Hotel and Leading MICE Hotel Middle East in 2015.

“To be recognized at The World Travel awards for the third consecutive year is a great honor and achievement. Being one of the only business hotels in the UAE that can host more than 1,000 delegates to meet, eat and sleep in the same location, we are able to provide one of the best conference services in the region. Winning these awards wouldn’t be possible without our fantastic team and it is testament to their hard work and dedication. I would also like to thank our guests and business partners for their support. These awards are incredibly flattering and we will continue to strive to deliver excellence as a brand and a hotel.” said Bill Keffer, General Manager at JW Marriott Marquis Dubai.

The world’s tallest hotel JW Marriott Marquis Dubai has been awarded with over 50 awards since its opening with the most awarded outlet being Rang Mahal, the hotel’s resident Indian restaurant, operated by Michelin starred Chef Atul Kochhar. In 2015 the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai was awarded the Business Traveller Middle East ‘Best Overall Business Hotel Middle East’ and the Tatweej-Academy for Excellence and Quality award ‘Best Hotel in the UAE’. The World Travel Awards Middle East being its most noticeable to add to this.
