Saudi Arabia - National Medical Care Company (NMCC) and Houston Methodist Global Health Care Services (HMG) held a ceremony announcing the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between both institutions for the next five years. The MoU includes a collaborative work frame between NMCC, represented in Care Academy (CA) and HMG in developing and implementing projects focused on improving the quality of health care services in Saudi Arabia and providing educational opportunities for NMCC's employees and medical staff.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Amri, CEO of NMCC, Mr Ahmed O Hawsawi, Executive Director of CA and Dr. Sarper Tanli, Vice President at Houston Methodist Global Health Care Services and accompanying representatives from both parties.
Commenting on the signing, Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Amri, CEO of NMCC, said: "NMCC representing CA and HMG have mapped their collaboration in several fields throughout the MoU which supports our vision to promote health care services provided in Saudi Arabia in accordance to international standards. The projects entail a number of educational programs amongst in-house training programs for NMCC employees in Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas, to further develop and introduce effective health care services."

Through the MoU, CA in NMCC seeks HMG's assistance and provisional support through consulting services in academic, education, and quality initiatives focused on providing quality health care to local communities.
