DUBAI-The Federal National Council, FNC, Technical Affairs, Energy and Mineral Resources Committee has approved its plan to review the overall policy of the Federal Electricity and Water Authority, FEWA, which is based on three key areas - FEWAs strategic plan, the development of its services to citizens, and its services fees.

The committee approved its plan during a meeting held today at the General Secretariat headquarters in Dubai, which was chaired by Mohammed Ali Al Kamali, Head of the Committee.

Al Kamali said that prior to adopting the policy review plan, the committee examined several technical and analytical studies, and will continue to discuss its progress in the coming weeks, as it is an important and relevant issue that effects a wide segment of the community.

The committees members will review additional technical papers, studies and statistics on FEWAs services, so they can review them in a precise and detailed manner during their discussions in upcoming meetings.

Al Kamali affirmed that the committee works within the remit of the FNC's vision, that complements the wise leadership's vision and guidance which seeks to address the needs of its citizens and any challenges they may entail, to ensure the continued progress and development of the UAE's future.
