Riyadh: The Saudi National Water Company (NWC) has said that it is currently setting up wastewater projects with as much as SAR 72 million in investments.

These projects are part of the state-run water utility’s expansion plans that aim to raise the quality of water and environmental services in Jeddah, the firm’s general manager in Makkah Mohammed Alghamdi stated.

Around 90% of the project was finished, Alghamdi added.

Since the beginning of 2018, NWC completed about 11 projects in Jeddah, providing services to 100,000 residents.
