Dubai: Transguard Living, the consumer division of Transguard Group, has announced that from today until 31st May, 2019, it will donate the VAT from a selection of services to Emirates Red Crescent. This is the first donation drive of its kind for the home services company.

“Every year, Ramadan offers a wonderful opportunity to give to those in need, and we are excited to partner with our customers for a great cause,” said Greg Ward, Managing Director, Transguard Group. “Everyone benefits, because not only will our customers enjoy our excellent service, they’ll do so in the knowledge that they were simultaneously able to help those in need.”

While Transguard Living offers a number of solutions for cleaning, fixing and moving, during Ramadan the VAT of the following specific services will be donated to Emirates Red Crescent under License Number 2217:

  • Annual Maintenance Contract (one-year contract)
  • Cleaning subscription (one-year contract)
  • Maid’s contract (two-year contract; VAT donation applies to first year only)
  • Any local move

Tasked with supporting official authorities in organizing awareness programs, first aid, protection and control of epidemics, Emirates Red Crescent pays special attention to regional social issues and provides various humanitarian assistance for vulnerable, needy people and victims of accidents and disasters.
