Beirut, Lebanon: The Leadership of the IAA Africa region in collaboration with its strategic partners (CNN, Brand Finance and Women In Marketing (CiC)) and the IAA Global body present the 4th edition of the Global Leadership conference “Africa Rising – What’s Coming Next” scheduled from the 28th- 29th of September 2021. In light of the current pandemic, this year’s conference will be held virtually.

This year's conference under the theme "AFRICA TO THE WORLD" will showcase the thought-leadership and insights across the continent and dial the significance of Brands as The Engine Of Economic Revival in Africa.

The advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, if nothing at all, has made it apparent the need for African countries to support the private sector and build strong, valuable brands and businesses. It is time for brands in Africa to stand up and show the world their resilience now, during COVID as well as post-COVID, and step up to explore their relevance to consumers and the world.

This year’s conference promises to be an exciting one with the gathering of some of the best brains in the marketing communications industry as they share knowledge and experience on key developments, trends, and topics such as:

  • Why Brands Matter in Africa with regards to COVID-19
  • How Brands partner Governments to propel economies
  • The impact of Technology on Marketing Today and in the Future
  • Reconsidering Storytelling as your Brand North Star
  • How do we Connect, Learn and Trade for a new world?

And many more conversations that will go a long way in shaping today’s global industry.

This year’s conference will also see the exclusive launch of Brand Finance’s Top 150 Brand in Africa. The conference will be opened by the 1st African World President and Chairman of the IAA, Mr. Joel Nettey and will feature speakers from industries all over the world including LinkedIn, Google, Coca Cola, Mastercard and more.
