UAE –  Non-oil trade exchange between the UAE and China has surpassed $50 billion in 2018, compared to $30 billion, the UAE’ Ministry of Economy recent statement.

Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Saleh, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Economy, said that the number of Chinese operating companies in the UAE reached 4,000, including companies in the free zones.

The announcement took place during the visit of the Chinese delegation from Liaoning.

More than 300 Chinese trade agency and 5,000 Chinese brands are registered in the ministry.

The UAE and China enjoy strong socio-political and economic ties.

There are currently more than 200,000 Chinese citizens living in the UAE, and the Chinese tourists are also growing every year, especially after the introduction of visa on arrival for the Chinese in UAE.
