Recognized by AOSR and Tatweej Academy for strong community support

Dubai - 7 December 2015 - GCC SERVICES, a wholly integrated remote site services company, recently received two prestigious corporate social responsibility (CSR) awards from the Arab Organization for Social Responsibility (AOSR) and the Tatweej Academy in the UAE.

GCC SERVICES was recognized for its active CSR programs that have positively impacted the communities in which it operates, by demonstrating regard for the lives of the people and the environment in which the company operates and lives.

Therefore, we are always mindful of the need to conduct our business responsibly and contribute to society through various community programs."

In the last year, GCC Services has organized numerous CSR activities in the UAE, Iraq and Sudan. UAE projects included supporting Gaza refugees through the Dubai Cares initiative of packing 50,000 school bags and collecting winter clothing in the UAE. This ran alongside environmental cleanups in Ras Al Khaimah and Jebel Ali, and Earth Day tree planting projects in other parts of the UAE.

In Iraq, GCC Services distributed Ramadan "care packages" consisting of one month's food to local families and renovated a children's ward at the Basra Hospital.

In Sudan, the company renovated a 904-student school in El Geneina, Darfur, provided football jerseys and equipment to the Khartoum Boy's Home, conducted food safety certification and warehousing training for local employees. Environmental projects ensured tree planting and the greening of the local environment.
