Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: The Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) has recognized and congratulated ten talented UAE Nationals who took part in the recent Emirates Skills National Competition during a special virtual ceremony.

The Emirates Skills National Competition is a stepping stone for a rewarding career for young Emiratis, enabling them to develop new skills and build professional networks. The Competition also qualifies youth for potential selection for the national team to represent the UAE in the regional and international levels of the competitions.

At the national event that challenges young people and introduces them to a variety of technical and vocational careers, ENEC’s Chief Executive Officer H.E. Mohamed Ibrahim Al Hammadi visited the event at ADNEC, meeting participants and congratulating them on their excellent work.

Ten of the winners were recognized in a ceremony hosted by ENEC, which also welcomed the participation of Activet Director General H.E. Dr. Mubarak Al Shamsi. H.E Al Hammadi applauded the dedication of the ten talented youth and wished them continued success in regional and international competitions. He highlighted the importance of learning new skills to achieve their full potential.

ENEC is a long-standing partner of Emirates Skills and this year’s ‘Clean Energy Sponsor.’ The event brought together more than 90 national talents that competed and tested their vocational skills. These competitors competed for three days whilst getting professional and national expertise through hands-on workshops that guide and nurture the young Emirati talents to enhance skills that enables them to advance their careers.
