Cairo-based Delta Insurance eyes renewing talks with Hannover, Swiss, AXA Re

Egypt’s Delta Insurance Company is to start by the end of November talks to renew its annual reinsurance agreements for 2017, its chairman El-Sayed El-Gohary said.

Egypt’s Delta Insurance Company is start by the end of November talks to renew its annual reinsurance agreements for 2017, its chairman El-Sayed El-Gohary said Thursday.

The Egyptian insurer aims to renew its reinsurance agreements with Germany’s Hannover Re, Swiss Re Group, and France’s AXA Reinsurance, El-Gohary.

The Egyptian official further said he expects that the reinsurers would renew agreements with Delta without placing any additional conditions.

Delta, which is headquartered in Giza, started operations in 1981.
