MANAMA: CrediMax has launched Cardy EX, a multi-currency prepaid contactless card.

The new smart payment solution allows cardholders the choice to pay for goods and services in up to six major currencies including Bahraini Dinars, USD, GBP, Euro, AED and SR all from one card.

Cardholders will be able to with just a tap to pay in the local currency for easy and secure payments and very attractive low exchange rates.

“We continuously aim to simplify our cardholders shopping experience by giving them smart payment solutions and the confidence to travel safely, shop better online with complete convenience and control over their budget.

Additionally, unlike other cards, Cardy Ex will have no international transaction fees on GBP, Euro, AED and SR.

As for the USD, it will have an international transaction fee of 1.5 per cent only,” said CrediMax chief executive Yousif Ali Mirza.

“This is one of the many innovative payment solutions that we are planning to launch for our customers within the next few years starting 2019.

“To mark this latest addition of product to our portfolio, cardholders will receive 0.377 USD rate exclusively without any international transaction fees or any additional fees for three months from July till September. We will also be rewarding the first 3,000 cardholders who apply for and receive their Crady EX card, with complementary $10 credit. On top of that, cardholders will also be eligible to enter CrediMax’s main campaign which runs till end of this year.”
