The Manchester two-year Global Part-time MBA programme is now structured around four practical themes - Management in Practice; Value Creation in Business; Tailoring Your Journey; Professional Skills for Business. Students can also further personalise the MBA programme with a range of electives to suit specific goals and interests, and there are further options to accelerate the programme to 18 months.

The Global Part-time MBA programme provides as much face to face time with faculty as many full-time MBA programmes, with workshops hosted in Dubai.

Randa Bessiso, Director - Middle East at The University of Manchester, comments: “The QS World MBA Tour presents a great opportunity for prospective MBA students to meet some of the world’s top business schools and assess a range of MBA programmes face to face with student counsellors. You only study for an MBS once and so choosing the right school, programme and format is essential and the student learning experience can now be personalised to meet very specific career goals. Many of our Global Part-time MBA students are successful mid career to senior managers or specialists looking to switch careers, accelerate their current careers or follow more entrepreneurial careers. All these learning routes lead to the award of the world class Manchester MBA degree for talented working professionals.”

The Middle East Centre has supported more than 2,500 part-time MBA students based in the region and has graduated more than 1,500 students since opening in Dubai Knowledge Park in 2006, making it the largest and fastest growing centre in the University’s international network. The part-time study option leads to the award of the internationally recognised Manchester MBA degree awarded by the University of Manchester. The Middle East Centre has developed into the largest and fastest-growing centre in the University’s international network comprising six hubs in key business cities around the world. It is also the most diverse, with students of over 100 nationalities.

The University of Manchester continues to move higher in a range of new ranking announcements, confirming its status as one of the world’s top universities, focusing on the quality of teaching, research and social responsibility. The University of Manchester reached its highest-ever position in the QS World University Rankings 2019, which now lists Manchester as the world’s 27th best university, and among the very top global institutions. In addition to the global ranking, QS university league tables also position the University at 6th in the UK and 8th in Europe, and part of the elite group of research-driven institutions.
