Manama: Seef Properties Chief Executive Officer Mr. Ahmed Yusuf has been recently listed by Cityscape Intelligence amongst the 20 most influential individuals in the real estate industry across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) in 2020.

Mr. Yusuf is the first to represent the Kingdom of Bahrain in this list, which included a group of exceptional, and influential figures in the real estate sector in the MENA region.

The nomination of these personalities came as a result of the great impact they had on the sector's sustainability and their efforts in defying the challenges that stormed the year 2020 due to the emergence of the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, to which they implemented innovative solutions that enabled their companies to withstand the repercussions of the pandemic.

It is noteworthy that Mr. Yusuf has over 26 years of real estate and project management experience. Overseeing Seef Properties' growth, the CEO has ensured that the company manages a vast portfolio of assets across the Kingdom, further cementing it as a brand backed by a diverse and innovative business and real estate portfolio.

On this occasion, Seef Properties’ Chairman Mr. Essa Mohamed Najibi said: "We are pleased that our Chief Executive Officer Mr. Ahmed Yusuf has attained this achievement, which is a regional recognition of the tireless efforts he has exerted over the past years to maintain the strength of the Company's business models and its relations with its partners. We congratulate Mr. Yusuf for being listed amongst the 20 most influential individuals in the real estate industry across the MENA region in 2020, an achievement that he soundly deserves, considering his long experience in the field and his significant contributions during the last period, making Seef Properties one of the best performing real estate development companies in the Kingdom."

For his part, Mr. Yusuf stated: "I take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks and appreciation to the Wise Leadership of the Kingdom of Bahrain, headed by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister as well as Team Bahrain for this achievement, as earning this Award would not have been possible without the unlimited support from the Wise Leadership for the national competences and paving the way for the real estate sector to flourish. I would also like to convey my gratitude and appreciation to the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors for their sound directives and thorough decisions during the recent period.”

He further added: “Attaining this notable achievement makes me proud to be a part of Seef Properties.  This accomplishment was attained thanks to the concerted efforts of all staff members of Seef Properties. This honor is a reflection of the Company's national competencies and loyal work teams, which are the catalytic force for our distinction and success in our business models. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank them for their dedication and team work."

It’s worth noting that Mr. Yusuf played a key role in the development of Seef Properties’ project Al Liwan; the latest mixed-use development in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Located in Hamala area in the Northern Governorate and oversees Wali Al Ahd Highway, the project occupies 122,000 square meters, and consists of a wide variety of restaurants, cafes and retail stores, topped with 117 three-storey residential units that overlook stunning views. The development also includes a unique blend of shopping and entertainment destinations, with seven cinema halls and the largest entertainment center on the island.
