KIB launches 'KIB Black segment' with unique benefits worldwide for elite customers

Kuwait: Kuwait International Bank (KIB) recently launched its new KIB Black segment, which offers exclusive rewards and privileges to its elite customers. This move comes as part of the Bank’s strategy of providing services and products with exclusive features tailored to fit customers’ unique requirements and contemporary lifestyles.

Commenting on the newly launched segment, Othman Tawfeqe, General Manager of KIB’s Retail Banking Department, said: “By pushing ahead with its strategic drive for continuous development, KIB continues to provide its customers with the best-in-class banking experience. We constantly strive to strengthen our position as a leading player in the Islamic banking sector, by carefully crafting a set of exclusive benefits and lifestyle privileges for a variety of customers. The sophisticated design of the complete KIB Black segment package is an important addition to our suite of products, and will cater to our elite segment of customers with a monthly salary of KD 3,500 and above or who have a total deposit of KD 250,000 and above."

Additionally, Tawfeqe pointed out that KIB Black segment customers will be automatically eligible for a selected range of benefits with the Visa Infinite credit and debit card, including: access to the Bank’s credit cashback program when shopping locally and internationally; exclusive discounts when shopping in Kuwait and abroad; exceptional services and discounts at a range of luxury hotels, resorts and fine dining restaurants; as well as meet and greet services at more than 450 international destinations and access to more than 100 lounges at international airports. Visa Infinite cardholders will also enjoy peace of mind with top-tier benefits such as travel and accident insurance, consumer goods protection and 24-hour local and international concierge service.

Moreover, KIB Black segment customers will enjoy priority routing when completing financial transactions and deposits within branches, with the help of tellers or through the Bank’s call center. Moreover, special branches have been allocated exclusively for their KIB Black segment customers, including the head office branch, and branches in Al-Daiya, Al-Zahraa, Fintas, West Al-Jahraa and Farwaniya.

Concluding his statement, Tawfeqe noted that meeting the requirements of elite customers and distinguishing them from others remains a key priority for KIB. Adding that KIB Black segment  customers can enjoy a world of rewards designed to meet their needs, such as obtaining approvals for financing with competitive profits with utmost speed, document delivery and receipt across Kuwait, as well as the free cash and card delivery, 50% discount on Safety Deposit Boxes, in addition to the ability to make local and international transfers and request a free-of-charge cheque book or cash deduction service.
