From audio systems and in-car entertainment to body kits for the family saloon, and even multi-million dirham bespoke customized supercars, there's something for everyone

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: The latest auto tuning techniques and custom car designs from leading manufacturers will be on display at this year's Dubai International Motor Show (DIMS), the largest automotive event in the Middle East and North Africa taking place next week (November 10 - 14).

The demand for car customization in the Middle East has risen by 15 per cent and for the 100,000 plus visitors expected to attend, they will be able to see companies like Al Futtaim Motors, and tuning professionals GForce, as well as the latest auto tuning techniques and custom car designs from leading manufacturers like Toyota.

It's also the perfect place to find out the latest on what's happening in the Tuning, Aftermarket, Parts & Accessories market and to ask the experts on hand about the hottest new trends emerging from around the world.

Al-Futtaim Motors, the exclusive distributor of Toyota in the UAE, will showcase Toyota's racing and performance pedigree through the regional Motor Show launch of Toyota Racing Development (TRD).

TRD packs render each car instantly recognizable as unique examples with sharper designs that offer improved performance and cornering stability thanks to TRD's downforce and aerodynamic tweaks.

Aerodynamic and sports packs from TRD will be available exclusively through Al-Futtaim Motors on the Toyota 86, the all-new Yaris Hatchback, Yaris Sedan, Corolla and the Aurion family saloon.

When it comes to in-car entertainment, Fly Audio will be on hand to show the latest in plug 'n play head units, GPS navigation, steering wheel controls, rear seat entertainment consoles, rear view cameras, Bluetooth connectivity and more.

Brian's Custom Audio from The Netherlands has a large client base here in the UAE with a separate workshop and office in Dubai. The team will be on hand to show its latest bespoke installations for the Ferrari 458, FF and F12 Berlinetta as well as its work on the Lamborghini Aventador and other supercars. Their work is world renowned and can turn any car interior into a perfectly balanced and acoustic concert hall.

The Dubai International Motor Show will also have a feature where a car will be built in front of the public in association with Dubai-based GForce Performance and Top Performance.  They will be conducting daily live tuning sessions during this year's show with live, on-site tuning and styling of a standard, production vehicle. Spectators and visitors will witness a comprehensive transformation that covers body styling, performance enhancement, wheels, tyres, suspension modifications and more. The live tuning arena will also feature the on-stage transformation of a high performance sand buggy that will receive engine upgrades, custom body panels, suspension, wheels, a safety roll cage and some interior enhancements. Tuning and customisation experts will be present at the stand and available to interact with the visitors.

The trend in foiling and wrapping, where the exterior colour can be changed by using a plastic or vinyl film stretched tight over the paint has a new competitor in the form of a rubber-based peelable paint from UK manufacturer, Cardip.

Cardip will be displaying its revolutionary new product that includes 3000 colour options in gloss, matte, pearl, metallic, candy and chameleon effects which allows the owner to change the car's colour on a whim while protecting the original paint. It's sprayed on like regular paint but can be easily peeled off when it's time for a new look.

Held every two years, the Dubai International Motor Show is the main highlight of the Dubai Motor Festival, which is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.

The 2015 Dubai International Motor Show is supported by Show partners AC Delco, Alienware, Autopro, Cooper Tires, ENOC, Dell, Mazda, RTA and Swiss Tourism. The show will be open from 6pm to 10pm on November 10; 11am to 10pm on November 11; 11am to 11pm on November 12 and 13; and from 11am to 10pm on November 14.
