Dubai: From the latest designer furniture, must-have accessories and biggest interior or exterior design tips and tricks, the Dubai Home Festival (DHF) has something to fit every room, apartment, villa, garden, backyard or balcony.

Held from 19 to 30 September, DHF is a one-stop-shop for everything home or outdoor furnishing related, with residents and visitors able to make their home makeover dreams come true thanks to a huge range of deals, promotions, raffles and inspiring moments.

Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), all of the stores and malls participating in DHF follow all of the important health and safety measures, including social distancing and the wearing of masks at all times.

DFRE highlights some of the best events taking place during DHF:

HOME MAKEOVERS & MORE

Shoppers headed to branches of Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids or West Elm stores this DHF will have a chance to win a home makeover worth AED 20,000. Each store also offers a great complimentary interior design service, with trained experts on hand to help tenants or owners get the home they’ve always wanted.

Residents in need of a home makeover can head to Dragon Mart for a chance to win a free room revamp by one of Dragon Mart’s talented interior designers. DHF shoppers who spend AED300 will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win a makeover.

The Dubai Festival City and Dubai Festival Plaza branches of Sedar will invite customers to take part in a great giveaway to win a free home makeover worth AED5,000. Six shoppers will win a makeover each when they visit either store to explore deals including 25 to 50 per cent off blinds, curtains and wallpaper during DHF.

Indigo Living stores on Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Wasl Road will gift shoppers vouchers worth AED1,000 for every AED5,000 spent during DHF, meaning customers can take home even more great furniture or accessories.

Residents and visitors shopping at the Williams Sonoma store at The Dubai Mall this DHF could be in with a chance of winning AED1,000 gift vouchers to spend instore. Specialists in the very latest kitchenware and home furnishings, Williams Sonoma is a must visit during DHF.

Homes r Us stores will feature a great spend & win giveaway called Designed with Love and the Halfback offer this DHF. Inspired by two of Dubai’s best loved online influencers – Rawana and Houda – shoppers visiting Homes r Us branches around the city can win a AED500 gift voucher by creating a uniquely styled corner decoration in their home, using items purchased from Homes r Us, and sharing a photo on social media tagged using @homesrusstores @dsssocial and #DubaiHomeFestival. From 19 to 26 September, three Designed with Love winners of the will be chosen each day, with four winners announced each day from 27 to 30 September.  As part of the Halfback Homes r Us offer, customers who purchase items worth more than AED500 at Homes r Us stores during DHF will receive half back in the form of vouchers to use in store.

Residents and visitors who spend a minimum of AED100 in Home Stores at Festival Plaza Jebel Ali will get a chance to ‘crack the code’ for a chance to win AED250,000 and AED70,000 in cashback rewards.  Shoppers can take as many tries as they want to walk away with the great cash prize. Additionally, Home Stores will also delight customers with a great DHF cashback weekend from 23 to 25 September, with 10 per cent back on all purchases over AED5,000. 

DHF at Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif and City Centre Deira means more ways to earn SHARE points. SHARE members making purchases of AED300 or more in homeware, appliances and accessories stores can earn 5xSHARE points plus they will be entered into a grand prize draw to win one of two home makeovers worth AED50,000.

This DHF, Home Centre will cut prices by 25 to 70 per cent off on a wide range on furniture, home accessories and kids products. Customers who spend more than AED 250 will have a chance to win a trendy new look for their living room with advice from a professional interior design consultant.

Bloomingdale’s promotions for DHF include 30 per cent off select lines of homeware and accessories available in The Dubai Mall store. Plus, UAE residents can take advantage of the New Mover Offer exclusively for DHF with extra savings and an expert design consultation service available to help tenants or homeowners restyle their property. Interior designers will work closely with the client with fees refundable on furniture purchases. Service includes Space planning and Layout 2D; Mood board; Furniture selection; Advice on accessories, decorative pieces, wallpaper and window treatments.

Offers and savings on TVs will be available at Jumbo Stores during DHF. Shoppers can save up to AED1,999 and have a chance to win a Samsung 4K TV and Soundbar each day of the festival. Customers can also get AED250 off Spotii’s Shop Now, Pay Later service. Free gifts including Airpod Max and Samsung Soundbars will be provided with purchases of select items.

EVENTS & ACTIVATIONS

The UAE’s largest handmade art, fashion and craft event, the ARTE market, will visit Times Square Centre on 24 September as part of DHF. Shoppers will be able to find beautiful accessories and handcrafted items to decorate their home. An acronym for ‘Artisans of the Emirates’, ARTE promotes art, design, fashion, craft and foods, all handmade in the UAE by the market’s vendors. A great place to pick up unique, one-off items as well as great design inspiration, the ARTE market is open from 10am to 6pm.

The ONE will host a great DHF sale across all of its Dubai stores, with up to 70 per cent off selected furniture and accessories during the festival period, with shoppers also able to pick up ‘slightly injured’ items for up to 75 per cent off. From 19 to 22 September, THE One Mall of the Emirates will feature one great offer per day on ‘special core value products’. Customers who spend AED1,000 at THE One Mall of the Emirates during DHF will be entered into a raffle to win a AED10,000 gift card, with AED1,000 gift cards also up for grabs as part of the THE One Snap Tag ‘n’ Win: Instagrammable Sofa: ‘Find Your Purpose’ contest held at the Mall of the Emirates branch.

THE One Al Quoz will host first come, first served interior styling workshops. A ‘How to Style Your Dining Table’ session will be held on 20 September, with a ‘Style Your Sofa THE One Way’ workshop on 22 September. On 27 September, the store will host a ‘Style Your Bed THE One Way’ class. All workshops last for one hour. Those interested in attending can register in advance via social media.

RETAIL OFFERS

Those looking to do some serious shopping, Festival City Mall will tempt shoppers with 10 per cent cashback on all purchases of AED1,000 or more at any homeware store in the mall during the DHF period.

Leveira Interiors Furniture will invite shoppers to pick up a gift voucher worth AED500 when they spend AED4,500. Plus, customers can enjoy free fixing of curtains or wallpaper when they spend AED2,000 or more with free rugs worth AED350 with any purchase of AED3,000 or more. The Mattress Store will host a sale with savings from 25 to 75 per cent, with up to 50 per cent off at West Elm, Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn Kids plus Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn Kids will also host Buy Two, Get Two deals on selected collections, with AED30 off selected purchases of AED100 or more. Hema will host a Buy Two, Get One free promotion on bath, living and home essentials and Mood will offer savings of between 35 per cent and 75 per cent online and in stores. Shoppers can find 50 to 75 per cent off selected carpets at Al Salem Carpets and 30 to 70 per cent off at Merinos Carpets.  The FRATO store will reduce prices by 30 per cent while stocks last during DHF plus shoppers who buy a bed and mattress will get 35 per cent off the total price and customers who buy just a bed or mattress only will get 25 per cent off. Stressless stores will reduce prices by 25 per cent this DHF with huge offers available at branches of Better Life, including deals on Siemens, Smeg, Zanussi and Gorenje appliances ranging from savings of AED50 on spends from AED4,000 to AED6,999 and AED2,400 off purchases of AED30,000 or more. Dubai Interiors has selected a great range of products to be included in this year’s DHF, with designer furniture and unique accessories available for customers to take home at great prices with savings of 30 to 55 per cent off all DHF items. Harman House’s special DHF offers include deals on Samsung TVs, with prices starting from AED699, AED999 and AED2,999.
