UAE – In line with its commitment towards implementing the directives issued by the Dubai Executive Council, the Dubai Government Workshop (DGW) discussed the best ways on how to implement the remote work system, within the framework of its commitment to comply with the precautionary and preventive measures that the UAE is implementing to confront the emerging coronavirus (COVID – 19). This came during a recent leadership team meeting chaired by H.E. Fahad Ahmed Al-Raeesi, CEO, DGW, to define the mechanisms put forward to ensure that the assigned tasks are carried out properly and to ensure business continuity remotely.
The meeting included a review of how to put the remote work system into effect by making use of the advanced technical system of the Dubai government, in a step that preserves the safety of employees and customers alike, while ensuring the highest levels of work flow, efficiency, quality and service excellence in line with the goals of smart transformation.
H.E. Fahad Ahmed Al-Raeesi affirmed DGW’s commitment to ensure the health and safety of its personnel, who are seen as valuable wealth, reiterating its continuous endeavor to work in accordance with a series of preventive and precautionary measures that the UAE is pursuing to combat the spread of the virus locally, regionally and globally, and solidarity with various affected countries to overcome the global crisis, in the spirit of responsibility and a culture of giving.
H.E Al-Raeesi added, “The remote work system is an ideal option at the present time, especially in light of the advanced technological infrastructure in the UAE.”
H.E added: “Based on our national and humanitarian duty, which we must make unremitting efforts to stop the spread of the virus, the Dubai Government Workshop confirms its commitment to comply with all precautionary laws and regulations applied locally and globally, keeping in mind our conformity with the highest standards of hygiene and prevention, as well as following the latest advanced technologies to better apply working mechanisms under the current circumstances, in a manner that enhances the continuity of work and maintains the safety of employees and achieves the efficiency and productivity required to make customers happy.”
The leadership team meeting in the DGW came in response to the circular issued by the Dubai Executive Council recently, which included a set of new precautionary measures aimed at ensuring the highest levels of prevention of COVID-19, in line with the continuous government efforts to maintain the highest levels of protection and prevention and safety.
