Mubasher: The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) on Tuesday announced issing six-month bonds at a value of KWD 240 million ($1 million).

The issue was oversubscribed by 9.9 times, after banks provided around KWD 2.39 billion, according to the CBK’s statement.

The bonds will mature on 21 May 2019, with a yield of 2.875%.

It is noteworthy that the last bonds issue of the CBK was on 23 October at a value of KWD 160 million, with a 2.750% yield.
