Dubai’s renowned lifestyle destination Cove Beach has announced plans to open its second location in the UAE at Abu Dhabi’s Makers District on Al Reem Island in partnership with leading Emirati developer Imkan Properties.

The new venue, which is set to open soon, will sit directly along the coastline of Makers District and opposite the Saadiyat Island Cultural District, will boast a 100-seat al fresco restaurant and lounge, as well as capacity for 1,000 guests by the beach and pools on sun loungers, day beds and cabanas, according to Cove Beach.

Set amongst beautifully landscaped gardens with stunning picturesque views of the ocean and iconic Reem skyline, Cove Beach Abu Dhabi will provide a much-needed oasis on Reem Island and will stand out amongst the very few beach clubs on offer within the capital.

With over 300 meters of beach front, a sea pool set within the ocean and the only swimmable beach on Al Reem Island, guests will also be able to undertake cool water sports such as kite surfing, a historic and popular favorite in these waters.

Makers District, which plans to begin the handover and first phase of its completion by next year, is a mixed-use hub that aims to cater to some residents, including creatives, entrepreneurs and innovators.

Future phases of the Makers district include a waterfront boutique hotel and a range of residential, F&B shops and co-op spaces.
