AMMAN - The Labour Ministry, during an inspection campaign on Monday, found 105 foreign workers in violation of the Labour Law and fined 45 employers who hired Syrian workers in restricted jobs without work permits.

Ministry Secretary General Farouq Hadidi said that the ongoing campaign aims at organising the market and targetting shops and facilities that illegally employ foreign workers, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Hadidi added that the ministry is continuing inspection campaigns nationwide through periodic and unannounced visits to these facilities, stressing that all violating workers will be deported and violating employers will be fined.
