Dubai, UAE: – Millennium Hotels & Resorts Middle East and Africa, one of the fastest-growing hotel management companies in the region, announced the appointment of Haitham Assem as Regional Associate Director of Marketing & Communications for the Middle East and Africa.

The appointment comes as part of the company’s new commercial strategy to support the rapid growth and expansion. Assem will oversee the portfolio of 11 brands, 42 hotels with 14,000 keys in addition to 10 hotels are due to open in 2019 and 35 hotels in the pipeline across the region.

Assem holds a degree in Law and carries professional qualifications in Marketing and is currently a member of The Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM)

Assem has over 11 years of extensive marketing experience leading marketing and communications in the world's most renowned global hospitality brands such as Kempinski Hotels, Global Hotel Alliance, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International and Hilton Hotels & Resorts.  Assem will be focusing on driving Millennium Hotels & Resorts brand equity and developing the marketing and communications strategies to reinforce the positioning of the eleven brands.
