Al Futtaim Group launches Al Futtaim Health following UAE's vision 2021

UAE –   Al Futtaim Group has launched Al Futtaim Health and its HealthHub, which will bring specialised care to residents across the UAE, in a move to follow UAE's vision 2021.

The new HealthHub features ten clinics, and it includes 26 multispecialty clinics, day surgical centres, super-specialized centres of excellence, and two hospitals, according to Al Futtaim Group’s statement on Sunday.

Al Futtaim Group plans to expand regionally and globally over the coming two years.

The HealthHub was launched at a private event in the presence of Humaid Al Qutami, chairman of the board and director-general of the Dubai Health Authority, HE Marcy Grossman, Council General of Canada, Omar Al Futtaim, vice-chairman of the Al Futtaim Group, and Haidar Al Yousuf, managing director of Al-Futtaim Health.

“It gives us great pleasure to see large market players like Al Futtaim investing in the private health sector of Dubai and UAE and becoming significant investors in this vital economic sector,” Al Qutami commented.

The newly launched HealthHub provides an accessible, integrated health management supported by smart solutions in a casual, happy and insight-driven environment.

“This is Al Futtaim’s first investment in the healthcare sector, which is another milestone in our group's business diversification efforts,” Omar Al Futtaim said.

He added that the group is focusing on building a significant, sustainable portfolio that aims at adding value to the healthcare sector and contributes to building a world-class healthcare system in the UAE.

“Medical tourism is a booming global industry and its projects like these that will contribute to putting the UAE on the map as a hub for medical tourism,” Al Futtaim concluded.
