Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) has promoted its process automation and digital transformation on its website with global workflow solutions vendor Nintex, SEC said on its website.

Featuring prominently among the stories of international players, SEC just became the first Middle Eastern company to achieve such an accolade. Nintex workflow technology has helped it develop many digital solutions, including its Construction Portal and Violation Monitoring System, SEC said in the statement.

The Construction Portal is a platform for SEC administrators and contractors to discuss projects and related operations, including running changes, ordering additional supplies, returning excess materials, verifying certificates of completion and work permits.

The platform contains specific operational tracks and tasks that enable contractors field crews to fill out online forms, respond to notices, and upload images to document progress on a given project. The Construction Portal also enables SECs field supervisors to track progress, file online reports, check off tasks and upload images. Back office supervisors may use the platform to have work permits issued online and receive and review progress reports on every task.

Nintex helps save time and effort to expedite operations with ease, said Ahmed Alsaqqaf, Director of Advanced and Emerging Technology Projects at SEC. TradeArabia News Service
