The Roads and Transport Authority - Majdi Abu Zaid: The Information Technology Department of RTA's Corporate Technical Support Services Sector has held a training course about Social Engineering attended by scores of employees from various RTA's Agencies and Sectors.

"The objective of this Course was to enrich the knowledge of attendees about the importance of planning & preparations for the information security through using a set of tools & guidelines to help them implement the program in a way customized to the nature of each entity," said Abdullah Al Bastaki, Director of Information Technology. "It would also offer assistance in boosting the security of government information in a way enabling them to confront hazards depending on the magnitude of the potential losing, misusing or having illegal access to such information," he stated.

Al Bastaki narrated the benefits of attending this Course saying: "The Course was designed to protect government information from a wide range of threats in order to maintain their confidentiality, accuracy and availability.
