Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. - Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) is continuing its support of the American Chamber of Commerce Abu Dhabi (AmCham Abu Dhabi) Women in Business Committee to explore professional development platforms in the U.A.E. Northrop Grumman is proud to be an official sponsor of the Women in Business Committee. The additional funding will support more events, workshops and personal development opportunities and deliver on the key ideals of AmCham Abu Dhabi’s WOMEN ACHIEVE initiative.

“Our partnership with the Women in Business Committee has helped us raise awareness of the STEM [science, technology, engineering and mathematics] fields as the careers of the future. We believe U.A.E. women have an unprecedented opportunity to look at these fields seriously, develop their skills and get ready for new opportunities,” said Walid Abukhaled, Chief Executive, Northrop Grumman Middle East. “We believe strongly in diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities, values we share with WOMEN ACHIEVE. We will continue to remain at the forefront of these values and we are keen to see more organizations coming onboard.”

“We thank Northrop Grumman’s leadership and support of the WOMEN ACHIEVE program. We firmly believe in investing and in continuously supporting future women leaders, especially those thriving in STEM fields. Through this partnership it is our hope that we continue to build bridges and create opportunities for our WOMEN ACHIEVE Ambassadors,” said Dareen Zoughbi, Chairperson, Women in Business Committee, AmCham Abu Dhabi. “Northrop Grumman has set the stage for all of us and raised the bar of commitment to the advancement of women in the workplace.”
