Saqr has over 15 years of experience in senior and leadership human capital and talent acquisition roles in prestigious and highly recognized government and quasi-government organizations in the UAE, where he spent eight years in the Emirates Telecommunication Corporation - Etisalat and Seven years in The Executive Council of Dubai Government. As an Emirati, he is well placed to be particularly helpful to those organizations that strive to achieve the United Arab Emirates "Vision 2021" and the "National Agenda" strategic aims along with the fourth generation of "Government Excellence System" to revamp its various human capital programs and enhance the engagement of Emirati employees in the workforce, facilitating their valuable contribution to both the organizations and the nation as a whole.
Saqr joins Mercer at a time when private sector organizations are ramping up the hire of Emirati nationals in light of recent government directives.
