Dubai - Jumeirah Golf Estates, home to the DP World Tour Championship, is proud to announce the development of a new retail center, which is due to open in September 2016. The brand new 45,000 square feet retail center will feature a new-concept grocery store, restaurant and café. Situated on the edge of the Wildflower development, it is set to be the first retail unitto open in the community,which is already home to more than 700 families.
The project is being developed by DAR Properties and the construction contract has been awarded to City Diamond Contracting. The operations will be managed byMaybury, who has existing stores in Dubai Marina and Abu Dhabi, and offers a more lifestyle oriented shopping experience for its customers. The Maybury concept is to provide a neighbourhood store stocked with fresh produce, served with staff with great product knowledge and a passion for food.

This latest development is part of Phase 1 of the Jumeirah Golf Estates' development and follows the recent launch of the Alandalus, a collection of 674 affordable luxury apartments and 54 townhouses. The retail center will be closely followed by the Community Center, which is being developed as part of the Alandalus collection. The Community Center will include retail, hospitality and food & beverage outlets.
